• The property can be reached by speedboat, which takes 45 minutes from Velana International Airport.

• The transfer arrangements need to be made in advance; hence, payment is required at the time of booking. Transfer charges are not included in the room rate and are payable directly to the property.

What was the highlight of Eriyadu Island Resort

Good

The beach is very nice. Coral reef easily accessible. The price is favorable compared to other resorts.

I didn't like the rooms, they need renovation. Many details, such as the pier, need to be painted, and there are missing boards at the viewing points. I do not recommend the trip: dolphin watching trip. there were no dolphins and this could be forgiven because it was cheap at $26, but the search time only lasted an hour. Another trip, looking for Mantas. The cost is as much as $108. We didn't see any manta rays either. The organizer explains that they used to be here, now they are gone and you have to pay the full amount for them... they have no agreement with other resorts where they saw them, even though each resort offers the same trips. I don't recommend it, seeing them is almost a miracle. the staff stands on the boat and looks around for some time and looks for Manta without any contact with other people, while other resorts also have staff riding on a jet ski who helps in the search. nothing here! In the option without Allinclusive, drinking water is charged! while the juice is included in the price… on the island, the prices in the store are huge, I recommend buying souvenirs at the airport on your return

What was the highlight of Eriyadu Island Resort

White sand, crystal clear sea and a fantastic house reef

Snorkeling with sharks and turtles every day, we chose this place for the reviews of the house reef and it didn't disappoint. We had the all inclusive package which was great. Food was good, especially the chef special at every meal. Fish curry and roshi for breakfast was a very welcome break from my normal fruit and granola (which is also an option, but would very much recommend the local dishes). We especially loved having lunch on the beach at the beach bar, fish, chicken and beef options you could have by themselves or as a burger or kebab. Friendly and helpful staff, both at the hotel and the dive center. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious, clean and modern. Shower gel, shampoo, tea, coffee, hair dryer, beach towels, bath towels all provided. A great little porch to sit on in the evening and listened to the ocean. Eriyadu doesn't have the overtly luxurious feel of some of the other Maldives options, but it was at 85% capacity and never felt busy. It has a rustic charm that really made you feel like you were on a small island in paradise, without feeling run down or dated. Nightly entertainment such as crab racing or local music added a bit of variety to the evenings.

Fabulous island with superb snorkelling and diving.

Beautiful small island with magnificent house reef. All the team are are exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Very laid back and relaxing.

The property was great and good value for money.

The property was great and good value for money. The house reef in particular was fantastic. I’d recommend SE.

This doesn’t change the fact SE was a great hotel, but I’ve tried to contact the hotel since returning home for follow up assistance with my booking and no one has bothered to reply/assist. Basically, once you’ve been and paid your no longer a customer.

It's worth every penny

I like the location. And the staff where perfect ???? especially the service staff called Ibrahim hevis just the best. They do everything to make you feel at home and relaxed and the food is soooo delicious

The furniture in the room was a bit old. And the guest should be told the price of services after tax not before tax.

Wonderful

Eriyadu is a beautiful unspoilt resort with an excellent reef so ideal for snorkelling and diving. It is an older resort but charming and clean. We loved it. We went on an excursion to snorkel with Nurse Sharks which was indescribably amazing and the dive staff were exceptional. If you love nature and snorkelling, it is paradise.

Drinks very expensive as was the excursion although that was undoubtedly the best experience we have ever had in all our snorkelling.

Great house reef!

Very close to the airport - only 40 minute ride by boat, which is very convenient! Great house reef - among top on the Atoll! Great variety of fish, turtles! No strong currents. Very good diving centre!

We were on a holiday with our 3 daughters. The youngest who is 2 yo was attracting a lot of attention from staff. And as it is with little children, sometimes they do not like it. Waiter at the restaurant was really annoying her, he was touching her, trying to play with her which she did not like at all and was getting very upset. We've kindly asked him to leave her alone, he said ok but would not stop. When we asked him again, he just got so offended and went just crazy. He stopped serving our table, and in those rare moments when he was bringing us something, he was just throwing order on our table. It was terrible. And as you are assigned a table and get your waiter forever, you cannot run from him.

everything was good including the food, very good location we never got bored in the week.

not enaugh sunbeds on the beach almost impossible to get one and in the shade if not very early. the diving center very organized but horrendously expensive (almost 100 $. x dive)

Wonderful

The beach is amazing, it is clean, white sand, turquoise water - just like in the Maldives. The room was also nicely clean, spacious, very comfortable bed. The staff was kind but unfortunately could not speak English that well. It was often quite difficult to communicate with them because they did not understand. The wifi there was almost unusable, if you need to work, I recommend buying a sim card at the airport. But overall I absolutely recommend this place. The resort is not luxurious, but you can't ask for that at this price. But it gives you all the Maldivian style just because of the nice bungalows by the ocean. In terms of price/performance ratio, it's definitely worth it.

Nice place.

Nice and cheerful staff, splendid view and great food. Cooking class is fun, diving school is professional. The beach is clean and comfy to stay at.

Sometimes the bar music is too loud, a peaceful area would be nicer and better for relaxation.

Great diving with splendid house reef at this small, quaint, friendly, and established island resort

Just a 50 minute speedboat ride from Male. Food selection was good, with mostly local fare. Staff was EXCELLENT. If you dive, like we did, there aren’t many visitors talking advantage of the AWESOME dive staff and boat dives with no more than six divers each day.

The A/C in our Deluxe Beach bungalow wasn’t working. They first came & checked the inside unit, but it cooled for maybe a couple hours. Later in the week they came and replaced the inside unit. That wasn’t the problem either. Our last night we sweated out a 29° C night. Before checkout, we advised strongly that they NOT put anyone in that room until they checked the main A/C unit outside.

Beautiful reef and little calm island

The best reef we saw in the Maldives! if you like snorkeling or scuba diving is the best! Tortoise is always there waiting for you! We tried the scuba diving in the Eurodivers and was amazing. The room was very clean, people friendly and all very well organized. We had the half board, so the lunch was not included. This has not been a problem since we could eat at the beach bar with normal prices (15$/person for sandwich and drink). Breakfast is very various, abundant and tasty (both sweet and salt food). The arrival and departure has been organized very well by the resort, the boat trip is around 45 minutes from Airport. Is was exactly how we expected it very good value for money ratio.

Standard rooms are on 2 floors, instead on the pictures it seems they are all ground floor and they are placed in the side of the island where the jetty is. We preferred the ground level room and managed to get a change after 1 night. The food in the dinner was ok, not the best of course but slightly various. there are no beach racket games available for rent. the excursions are very expensive (150$ av/pers).

A pleasantly surprising vacation!

Absolutely perfect place for a great vacation! A very wide selection of food, lunch and dinner - perfect! Many and different offers every day, I recommend choosing full board. The employees are very kind and welcoming, as well as responsive. The beach is perfect, clean, the flora and fauna are very diverse and colorful, you can meet various special creatures. The room is cleaned every day. I totally recommend this place, it exceeded all my expectations! I really liked it, thank you!

The only thing I didn't like was the very slow internet, for example, posting stories to Instagram was a challenge. I recommend buying a SIM card with a data plan at the airport. Looking at it from the other side - I used the Internet less, so I enjoyed my vacation more. Therefore, it is difficult to say whether this is an absolute disadvantage. But checking in for the return flight was almost impossible because of the slow internet. My advice to hotel managers is to renew the furniture in the rooms, as they are outdated and show signs of use. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the great vacation.
